Using the pedigree Each pigeon has its own pedigree, a small one on the bottom for quick reference, but also a detailed one. This can be seen by selecting the wanted pigeon in the list and then:
In this new window, you will see that every pigeon has a second box where the info will be shown you entered in the 'extra'-box when adding the pigeon. You can also directly edit the pedigree in this window, just click on an empty box and a little dialog will popup asking for some information. Fill in the details you want and press "Save", the pigeon will be stored but will not be shown in the main list. If you do want it to be shown, just add a new pigeon pigeon in the main window and only fill in the bandnumber and year. When you press the save-button, the program will tell you that the pigeon already exists, but isn't shown and ask you to show it.
It is also possible to print out the pedigree, just use the "Print" button on the toolbar. If you haven't add your own address yet in the database, it will ask you to do so. Your name and address will be printed on top of the pedigree for reference. |
