its best to see pictures of parents Cock And Hen with details of name, line, feather color on the side of the picture, .. and below the details of graph pairing like 1st , 2nd , 3rd Clutch or pairing  with date.

It alls sound too good to be true but what would really be nice is to have this breeding section complete
before early december at the latest other wise its going to be another year before one can sample, use and benifit from it.  Just thought i would remind us all of this fact.

In the next version there will be a breeding system wwhere you can enter pairing/breeding details for each pigeon.
I will also add such a calendar where you can lookup these details according to date.

I just downloaded this, and it seems to be a very capable program. What's the chance of getting a calendar? I found the calendar in another pigeon database program to be very helpful. If you enter the mating date, it will show projected nest prep, egg laying, and hatching dates.

Hello JLR,

For an existing pigeon, click "Edit" in the toolbar, for a new pigeon, just choose "Add". Now you can enter or edit the details of the pigeon on the right side of the program. You will see a large square with the Pigeon Planner logo in it, click on it and an imagechooser will pop up.
To remove an image, right-click the logo and choose "Remove".

The band number and year are required.

As a band number you can enter whatever you want, but it needs a valid year, because it will be used for sorting etc.

There seems to be nothing wrong with the backup-utility. What operating system are you on? Make sure you have write-permissions on the folder where you are making the backup. Try to select the desktop folder, you should always have permissions there.

How do I add my pigeons that do not have bands? I tried using numbers 0001, 0100,1000, none seem to be accepted.

Hello,  First I am new to pigeons and this software.   Is there a set of instructions to know how to use this program properly, I was able to load my bird info with Tag, and colors and such. But some much of the advanced features I am totally lost on.  Would like to use it properly for more than just a list of my birds.   And when I try to back up my data,  It will try to back up and says to the Pigeon planner, but says there was a error making the back up???  Please help
